Growing older is a gift, and senior citizens have a wealth of knowledge and life experience to be treasured. From October 2-9, the Victorian Seniors Festival will focus on providing fun and good times with opportunities to participate in events and activities for free or low cost throughout the month.
This year the festival celebrates its 40th birthday. There will be in-person events and performances online. You can tune into radio plays, hear fascinating interviews with everyday people who have amazing stories to share, and be wowed by unique music performances.
In the lead-up to the festival, Mornington Peninsula Magazine has created a special feature with our seniors in mind. The Peninsula has long been the place to retire, and on the following pages we showcase some of the businesses and services that we know our senior population will love. Enjoy!
