Jan Ingersole founded the business when she saw a gap in the market for good quality swimwear and soon after ‘The Stretch Shop’ as Swimwear Galore was called in those days became the go-to place in Melbourne for swimwear. In the 2000’s Jan’s 3 children, Andrew, Kelly and Caz joined the business and took the business where it is today - 7 retail stores across Victoria, Australia and an online store delivering swimwear nationally and internationally.
