Mornington Community Support Centre Annual Winter Appeal

As we launch our Annual Winter Appeal to help continue the work we do, we have mixed feelings. Excitement at the prospect of raising much needed funds, and sadness that it’s still needed in our community.

For over 40 years MCSC has been providing vital community support to those in need. Our motto ‘Community Supporting Community’ is at the heart of what we do – and we deliver on this through our emergency relief and fresh food programs, financial support, no-interest loans, connection to other agencies and our crisis accommodation at The Ranch, which has assisted over 160 people experiencing homelessness over the past three years. We also run the Beach End Op Shop as part of our fundraising efforts.

With a small team of staff and over 180 dedicated volunteers, we serve Mount Eliza, Mornington, Mount Martha, and Moorooduc……your neighbours!

In addition to our Appeal, we are hosting a fundraising event on Friday 21^st June 2024 at Commonfolk Mornington to contribute to our target of $75,000

For every $1 donated we can turn that into $3 worth of emergency relief value, this is surely comforting to know that we make your hard-earned donation, work even harder. We exist so that so that anyone experiencing hardship has somewhere to turn – something we can only do with the financial and in-kind support of our local community
