A new exhibition by Mount Eliza artist Pete Pascoe opens July 1st at the Mornington Library.
The exhibition features 7 seascape paintings, 5 of which are over 1.5m, and a selection of smaller framed Plein Air on display until 31 July 2022.
Pete’s mastery of the fine details and use of colour creates realistic serene scenes with an emphasis on nature. The paintings become a window to the outdoors with a relaxing view of the beach. The exhibition features beaches from Mount Eliza, Mornington and Flinders.
Wearing many creative hats, so to speak, Pete is well known in the Peninsula community and greater Melbourne, having exhibited in many solo and group art shows, and through performances of his music at various festivals and gigs.
Pete would like to thank the Mornington Peninsula Shire for its support of local artists in offering this space for exhibition and the employees of the Shire’s Libraries for their assistance.
